April 13

April is finally almost here and spring is hitting.  The weather is warming up, water is open, and the snow is disappearing.  Wisconsin trout is open and local water will be on fire soon.  Come hang with us and get a few more flies tied for the month.  Monday the 13 we'll be at Galway Bay around 6:30 to tie a few flies and knock back a drink or two.  Join us for some fun times and fishy conversation.  Whether you're new to fly fishing or a seasoned pro everyone is welcome.  Hope to see you there!

Shirts!!

Ok-  we've been kicking around the idea of getting some swag to rep Chi- Tie besides stickers.  We've got a few ideas but the first is going to be a quick run of shirts.  We're looking at some long sleeve performance shirts- a nice lightweight layer to keep from getting fried by the summer sun with the Chi- Tie logo on the back.
We're hoping to keep the price around $25 and are going to do a pre-order/ pre-pay type deal with about a two week delivery.

March Wrap Up

I'm a little late getting this posted, but once again we had a great time at Chi- Tie this month.  Thanks again to all who came out. As always there was a wide variety of flies being tied.  From Psycho Squirrels for the driftless to big deceivers for smallmouth and early season pike.  We even had an impromptu lesson for a new tyer! 
Don't forget- we run all year long and we'll be meeting up next on April 13.  Hope we see you there! 

March 9

February has been brutal and I know you're as antsy as we are for spring.  Well we're on the upswing so come on out join us to try to get those fly boxes a little more ready for spring and open water.  We'll be at Galway Bay again this month on Monday March 9 at around 6:30 (of course feel free to float through as you can).  So whether you're new to fly fishing and tying, interested in getting started, or an expert at all things fly- come join us for an evening of drinks, conversation, and tying.  Bring your vice and materials for what you want to tie or just join us for a beer!  Either way everyone is welcome.
