Happy New Years friends! Welcome to 2015 and another year of Chi-Tie!
We'll be kicking off another year of Chi- Tie on Monday the 12th as always at Galway Bay at 6:30pm. Come on out and join us for some fly tying and a few drinks. Just bring a vise and materials to tie what you'd like. Of course we welcome anyone and everyone to hang out with us. Tyer or not!

December Wrap- Up

I'm a little late in getting this posted but we had a good time as always at this month's Chi- Tie.  We once again had a huge variety of flies being tied from trout hoppers to giant musky tandems.  We had a few people just hang out for a couple drinks and had fun making some new friends.  As always we welcome anyone. 

A couple days later a few of us met out in Arlington Heights for the screening of the Hank Patterson film.  So a week full of fly fishing and good times!

We hope everybody has a Happy Holidays and a great New Years.  We'll see you next in January on the 12th!

December 8

Here we go again!  It's time for another Chi- Tie.  Monday December 8, 6:30pm at Galway Bay in Chicago.

Hank Patterson's Reel Montana Adventure

Our friends behind aTightLoop/ Dun magazines are bringing the Hank Patterson film to town.  Presenting Hank Patterson's Reel Montana Adventure at Star Cinema Grill in Arlington Heights on December 10.

The night promises to be a great time with the funniest guy in fly fishing since pretty much ever.  There's guaranteed to be plenty of laughs and just a good time. Plus the venue has a full bar and menu that's delivered to your seat in the theatre.  What else do you need?!  Hope to see everyone there!!

November Wrap Up

After spending the day before out at The Early Show we had our monthly meet up over at Galway Bay again.  We had a great time finishing up some flies from the day before and tying some new ones for upcoming trips.  Of course there were a few drinks and lot of laughs.  Thanks to everyone who made it out. 
Next month's meet up will be December 8.  See you then!

ISA Early Show

The convention season is fast approaching and the ISA (Illinois Smallmouth Assocation) is kicking it off with the only fly fishing specific show of the year featuring tiers from several Chicagoland clubs as well as local guides and vendors.
We'll be there with a couple guys tying and repping Chi- Tie.  Come on out and see us and other club friends.  It's always a good time showcasing a ton of local talent.
